Flower Photography Workshop and U-Pick

Join us for a hands-on photography workshop at Mindful Blooms Farm designed for beginners ready to take control of their cameras! If you have a digital camera but feel intimidated by manual exposure settings, this class is for you.

After the photography workshop Sophie, the owner of Mindful Blooms Farm, will guide you in picking your own flowers and you will fill a vase with fresh picked flowers to take home and enjoy!

You'll learn the fundamentals of the exposure triangle (aperture, shutter speed, and ISO) and how to use them to create stunning, dreamy images of flowers and the tiny critters that call them home. Nora will also share her favorite tips for composing, focusing, and working with natural light to bring out the beauty of every bloom.

Who this is for: Beginner to intermediate photographers with a digital camera who want to confidently shoot in manual mode.
What to bring: Your camera, a few charged batteries, and a memory card. Recommended: a lens capable of macro shooting. No worries if you don’t own one, we will have a few snap-on macro lenses on hand for you to try!

You’ll leave with beautiful photos, new skills, and a fresh perspective on nature photography! And a vase of flower picked flowers to enjoy and photograph at home!
